This is a recipe my mother in law makes every new year family gathering or at special occasions. It’s part of a tradition to Russian people.

This easy Russian salad recipe is prepared with readily available ingredients like variety of vegetables, chicken, and eggs.
Its not your “green side salad” You’d have to prepare it a day before eating it actually but It’s not complicated at all.
Its simple, full of flavour and uniquely delectable. don’t add any extras its just perfect the way it is.

The following recipe is for 6-8 people.
Ingredients For Russian Salad Recipe
- 5 potatoes (boiled & cut to small cubes)
- 3 carrots (boiled & cut to small cubes)
- 4 cucumber (freshly cut into small cubes)
- Half of a big onion (chopped small)
- 4 eggs (boiled & cut to small cubes)
- 4 pickled cucumbers (cut to small cubes)
- Half of frozen peas pack (boiled)
- 2 chicken breasts (boiled & cut to small cubes)
- 1 small-medium mayonnaise bottle
- 1 spoon vegetable oil
- Salt

Directions
Step 1 Boil the veggies, chicken and eggs
Bring a few pots of water to a boil; add potatoes, carrots, peas, chicken and eggs.
Cook all until tender.
Drain and slightly ingredients. Chop peel then chop potatoes, carrots, chicken breasts and eggs all to small cubes, add peas.
Step 2 Chop Chop Chop
Chop fresh cucumber and pickles into small cubes then Mix all chopped and added ingredients together in a large bowl; stir in one spoon of vegetable oil so they don’t stick together, add salt, add the mayonnaise until veggies, eggs and chicken are evenly coated.
Step 3
Cover the bowl and keep in fridge over night.
Step 4 Serve the salad
Serve cold. and Garnish with dill.
